Pleasant Hill Vineyards is a family-owned boutique winery located in Athens, Ohio. Previously a horse farm, the winery was established in 2012 and offers picturesque rolling pastures and beautiful views. Spend an Afternoon at Pleasant Hill Winery
Tasting Room
The Pleasant Hill Winery tasting room is attached to an original 1830s log cabin. Two wood burning stoves provide a cozy ambiance during the winter, and the expansive outdoor decks are ideal for warm summer evenings. Ten wines are available to taste, including Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Merlot. You’ll also find a variety of dry, sweet, and semi-sweet blends. Wine is sold by the bottle or glass.
Getting hungry? Pleasant Hill Vineyards offers a wide variety of house-made appetizers to go with the wine selection. We love the tomato and basil flatbread, chicken artichoke bake, and the nosh plate with salami, cheese, olives, crackers, pretzels, and chocolate. Yum! Special Events
Pleasant Hill Vineyards hosts a number of fun events throughout the year. From November through April, guests can enjoy a five-course food and wine pairing on Saturday evenings. The menu changes monthly and typically includes a soup, salad, seafood course, main entrée, and dessert. Or, check out Wednesday Italian nights from June through September. This chef’s choice dinner features an appetizer, salad, main entree, bread, and dessert. Reservations are required for both events.
June 2017 will mark the beginning of steak fries at the winery. Held on Saturday evenings in the outside seating area, visitors can choose from NY strip steaks, wild caught salmon or marinated chicken breasts.
