Hocking Hills Fall Foliage

Best Ways to View Fall Foliage

One of our favorite parts about Ohio in the fall is the changing of the leaves. The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls is surrounded on three sides by Hocking Hills State Park, so our entire property is lit up with the spectacular colors of autumn.

The cool air and Hocking Hills fall foliage make this the perfect time to explore the area. Wrap yourself in a cozy sweater, get into the autumn spirit with a cup of cider or pumpkin pie, stargaze at our outdoor firepit, and come see the incredible beauty of this season!

While there are several paths to choose from, we suggest the 2.5-mile Conkles Hollow Rim Trail. This route leads to the highest summits in the area and offers a breathtaking view of the treetops below. Order a brown bag to-go lunch from our restaurant to eat at the top as you relax above the trees!

If you plan to explore by bike, take the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway. This scenic path traces a twisting 20-mile course from Athens to Nelsonville along the Hocking River. Both routes provide ample opportunities for sightseeing, so don’t forget your camera!
