  1. Big Pine Road

Difficulty: Easy

This simple yet scenic trail is a favorite for many Hocking Hills visitors. However, its popularity can make it a bit crowded during peak tourist times. If you don’t mind sharing the road, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views of farm vistas and valleys. It’s also located near Conkle’s Hollow, one of the park’s most notable features, so don’t forget to stop by and take a look!

  1. Nickel Plate/Goat Run

Difficulty: Expert

We recommend this trail for more experienced bikers who can make the 600-foot climb! If you’re willing to take on the challenge, you’ll see some of the area’s most stunning farmlands. One tip shared by bikers who have conquered this 22-mile trail is to watch out for the sharp curve at the bottom of Moore Road. Otherwise, it’s a very relaxing and beautiful ride!

  1. Hockhocking Adena Bikeway

Difficulty: Easy

Also known as the “bikeway through history,” the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway is 21-miles of scenic views and learning opportunities. It was named in honor the region’s first inhabitants, the Hockhocking, which means “bottleneck” or “twisted.” Along the trail, you’ll see Ohio University, serene woods, the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, and more!
