1. Hocking Hills Winter Hike 

The Annual Hocking Hills Winter Hike is a must-attend event for wintertime visitors. The event begins with a continuous start from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. When you’re ready to embark on the 6-mile trek from Old Man’s Cave to Ash Cave, head to the starting point at the Hocking Hills State Park campground. From there, small groups of participants are led on a guided hike to the Upper Falls of Old Man’s Cave. Then, hike at your own pace until you reach the final destination.

2. Ice Skating on Lake Logan 

Romantic and family travelers alike are sure to love ice skating on Lake Logan! This natural, outdoor lake freezes over in the winter months, so it’s the perfect time to enjoy a day of ice skating. However, you should always make sure the ice is thick enough before heading out! Other winter activities at Lake Logan State Park include sledding and ice fishing.
