About Rockside Winery and Vineyards
Visiting Rockside Winery and Vineyards in Lancaster, Ohio, will make you feel like you’ve been transported from the hills of the Midwest to the rolling vineyards of Wine Country. The winery’s 17 sprawling acres are managed by Robin and Valerie Coolidge, the owners of Wyandotte Winery in Columbus, Ohio. The Wine
The winemaking process at Rockside Winery and Vineyards is based on tradition. Incredible care is put into each small, hand-crafted batch. Because of Ohio’s harsh winters and short summers, grape growing here is challenging and tricky. The Coolidge’s know that each vine must be expertly cared for to develop healthy, flavorful grapes. Their mastery of vinting shines through in the wine!
Winery Tour & Tastings
Rockside Winery is open Tuesday through Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 1 to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Guests can enjoy sampling varieties like Cabernet Franc, Chambourcin, Corot Noir, and more in the beautiful tasting room. Or, you can go to the adjacent covered patio that overlooks the vineyards and hills of Fairfield County. Wine tasting is available for just $1 per taste! We recommend letting us pack you a Brown Bag Lunch to take along with you to enjoy with your wine.
Fun Events
There’s always something going on at Rockside Winery and Vineyards! Enjoy Thursday happy hour from 5 to 8 p.m.; you’ll get $4 glasses of wine and 25% off food items!
