New Year’s Eve Train
Ring in the New Year with a ride on the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway! Perfect for guests of all ages, you can munch on pizza and soda in the kids car or wine and cheese in the adult car, all while enjoying a scenic ride through town. At midnight, cuddle up and watch a spectacular fireworks display to bring in 2017 with a bang! The train departs at 10:30 PM, lasts about two hours, and covers twenty miles round trip. Reservations are required, so hurry and get your tickets before it’s too late!
Hocking Hills Artists & Craftsmen Marketplace
The weekend of New Year’s Eve, take a day trip and enjoy local, hand-made, one-of-a-kind arts and crafts at the Hocking Hills Artists & Craftsmen Marketplace. From 10 AM to 7 PM on Saturday & Sunday, you can find beautiful, unique items crafted by local artists that are the perfect souvenir to bring back from your trip. Feel free to chat with the artist while you watch their demonstrations and learn more about their fascinating creative process. It’s a wonderful way to get to know our friendly Hocking Hills community!
