This family-oriented vineyard has approximately 2,000 vines covering 4 acres and produces an excess of 12 tons of grapes annually. Spend Your Morning Exploring the Hocking Hills
The Hocking Hills Winery opens at 1 p.m. each day (excluding Tuesdays), but don’t worry! We have a few great suggestions for spending your morning in the Hocking Hills before heading over to the winery!
First, fuel up for a day of wine tasting with a delicious complimentary breakfast of homemade muffins and pastries, fresh fruit, locally made coffee and tea, and scrumptious savory dishes right at our inn. After you’ve had your fill, venture to one of the many antique shops in Ohio where you can spend a few hours searching for treasures. From rare pieces of jewelry to unique furniture and collectibles, you’re sure to find the perfect souvenir to bring home from your trip.
Or, if you’re looking to get in some exercise before indulging, take a scenic morning hike to a waterfall. Our property is surrounded on three sides by the beautiful Hocking Hills State Park, so you can have a fun and easy adventure before heading to the winery. We suggest taking a quick 1/2 mile trek to Cedar Falls where you can climb 100 steps to and from the 50-foot waterfall, then make your way to Old Man’s Cave where you’ll admire beautiful rock formations caused by the cascading water.
Spend Your Afternoon Sipping
Now that the winery has opened its doors, the vino-filled fun can begin! Expect to be greeted by the sound of music from a live band, the smell of other guests grilling their lunch, and the delicious taste of winery finger foods like meats, cheeses, and crackers. You can also order a brown bag lunch from the Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls to take with you!
